Grounds and Maintenance Volunteers

• Maintenance for both grounds and building
• Equipment needs painted
• Clean kennels and building
• feed dogs

Office Volunteers

• Photograph or videotape teams
• Assist the Coordinator
• Data entry
• Assist with preparing for fundraising or other public events.
• Assist with volunteer scheduling and assignments
• Write Articles for newsletter and assist with distributing it

Service Dog Volunteer Program

• Dog Sitters
• Handler Assistants - work with trainers and dogs in training on outings
• Petters - Assist with grooming, bathing, and petting dogs
• Puppy raisers - Foster homes for puppies
• Transportation - Taking dogs to the vet and other appointments
• Walkers -Walk/play with dogs
• Weekenders - Take dogs in training home on weekends
• Volunteer Trainers - Under supervision, Volunteer Trainers work with dogs training them in basic obedience, and begin advanced task training
• Staff Trainers - evaluate candidates and do in home basic obedience training with dogs
